Parents are Leaders

At Davis, parents are valued as leaders and true partners in our school community. Through leadership committees such as the Community School Leadership Council, School Site Council, and English Language Advisory Committee, parents have an active voice in decision-making and shaping the direction of our school. In fact, our efforts to bring the rigorous International Baccalaureate program to Davis was born in our Community School Leadership Council! In addition, at Davis, parents and community members have access to workshops and resources at our Wellness Center five days per week, supporting the whole family. Our Community School Strategy at Davis is clear: when parents lead and work alongside school staff, all students flourish.
