What is IB?

Greetings!

Davis Elementary is an officially authorized International Baccalaureate World School, implementing the Primary Years Programme. Davis staff, students, parents and community members began our IB authorization journey in 2023, led by our Community School Leadership Council's efforts to provide rigorous instruction for our Davis students. In May of 2026, IB evaluators visited Davis to assess our progress, and in June of 2026, we received official notice of authorization. IB authorization is another step in our continuous effort to provide a challenging, rigorous, inquiry-based, globally-minded education that allows all of our students to flourish.
